I've been browsing through a lot of group therapy posts and find myself skipping many of them based on the fact that they make me go cross-eyed. Either they look like a big jumble of words or I can't figure out what the hell they're trying to say.
Lack of paragraph breaks, run-on sentences, and typos galore are simple things that can be fixed if you just re-read before posting. There's even a spell-check button!
Sometimes I wonder: where did all the good English teacher's teachers go?
Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti
absolutely.
1if it is hard to read or WAY to long, I won't read it
2It depends on how bad it is.
With that said, I know my spelling is not always perfect but I have seen some comments/posts on here that really worry me.
When I'm good, I'm very good, but when I'm bad, I'm better!
3Your post actually contains my number one pet peeve: Improper use of apostrophes. (where did all the good English teacher's go?)
It's gotten so bad that I find myself making the same mistakes I see everywhere. Now I have to stop and think about the rules of usage, whereas I used to be able to do it automatically.
4Holy crap!
How did I manage that one?
I usually make most of my punctuation and agreement mistakes when I go back and edit for word flow.
Fixing!
5I especially can't stand text speak! =P
6Note to self: Do not speak in text to Schai! hee hee!
